Your license gives you authorized access to run Groundwork with your clients. Once you're approved and set up in the portal, you can start immediately.

Every participant in your program gets a 45-minute Growth Plan session with you when they finish. By that point they've completed the equivalent of a three-month starting package and are ready to go deeper. If they want to continue with private coaching, that conversation is yours to have. If they aren't the right fit for your practice, we can match them with another guide and compensate you for the work you put into getting them there.

Your license renews annually to stay active.

As many times as you want, with as many people as you want, for as long as your license is active. Run it weekly, monthly, or whenever the opportunity comes up.

The self-directed curriculum works equally well for individuals moving at their own pace or as a shorter format like a lunch-and-learn. Individual seats are available at a discounted rate you can pass along or absorb into your own pricing.

Groundwork has shown up in a lot of different rooms. Small weekly groups and large weekly groups. Extended families and homeschool teenagers. Private Facebook communities. Church Sunday School. Licensed Financial Wellness Guides come from professional organizations with real training standards. If you hold a credential from one of the organizations listed above, you're in the right place to apply.

The application process is thorough by design. We want to know you, understand your practice, and make sure Groundwork is genuinely the right fit for where you're headed. If you're approved, you'll receive training before you run your first session so you feel confident and prepared.

Every guide signs our code of ethics before they're licensed. That's not a formality. It's the standard we hold ourselves to and the standard your clients deserve.

You can still bring Groundwork into your practice. Individual seats for the self-directed program are available at $197 CAD each, or $1,597 CAD for a block of ten (Licensed Guides get a bigger discount). It's a simple way to add a solid financial literacy foundation to your practice without committing to a full license.

When your clients finish the program, their Growth Plan session is handled by one of our licensed guides. That call is focused entirely on their next steps, not on selling them anything. If they want more, we'll pass them back to you.

It's a straightforward way to offer something proven without the full licensing commitment. And if a full license feels right down the road, that conversation is always available.

Groundwork was built in Canada by Canadians, and the Canadian market is where we see the greatest need. Quality financial literacy programs are harder to find here than in the United States, and the gap is real. If you're serving Canadians, you're in exactly the right place.

That said, Groundwork works equally well in the United States. The curriculum includes both Canadian and US statistics, acknowledges key differences between the two countries, and is intentionally kept at a level that lets you add local context, specific resources, and regional details that fit your clients' reality. Your clients won't feel like they're using someone else's program.

Beyond North America, the foundational content is universal. If you're working with clients outside Canada and the US, let's have a conversation. Geography hasn't stopped Groundwork from being useful yet.

Groundwork comes in two versions. The regular version covers the full financial literacy curriculum and works in any context. The Christ-centered version covers the same core content with the addition of scripture references and biblical principles woven throughout. It's a bit longer and carries a different logo so participants know what they're getting.

Both versions are intentionally kept at a level that gives you room to add your own denominational theology, your community's values, and your faith tradition's approach to money without contradiction. The videos set the foundation. You bring the depth.

The Christ-centered version has been used successfully in church Sunday School programs, congregational financial wellness series, and faith-based community groups. If that's your context, it was built with you in mind.

Monthly learning labs keep you sharp, and recordings of past sessions live in our portal so you never miss anything useful. Kathy runs open training sessions throughout the year where you can ask questions, get clarity, and stay current.

Your marketing toolkit is ready from day one. Canva templates, swipe copy, email sequences, and a three-year nurture campaign that runs in your name. Your bio page and directory listing go live as soon as you're ready for referrals so people looking for someone like you can find you.
